The first Cannes Fashion Festival is set to debut alongside Cannes Film Fest. Yes, that coveted film festival where actors, models, acclaimed dignitaries, socialites, and persons of the press flock for one of the most important appearances of their career. Well this year, they’ll share some of the spotlight with Cannes Fashion Festival.
To be held at Salon Croisete at the Hôtel Majestic Barrière, the three day fashion festival will run from May 20th – 22nd, 2015 showcasing an array of runway shows and events bringing together international designers, journalists, and industry insiders. Select insiders (comme StyleCartel) will be providing backstage sneakpeeks, interviews, and highlights. Plus, for those who can’t make it out, all runway shows will be streamed live for the world to enjoy.

So what type of fashion will be on display? There’ll be Haute Couture, Bridal, Lingerie, Sportswear, Jewelery, Swimwear, Accessories as well as ready-to-wear Men’s and Womenswear. As an added bonus, the fashion festival Ebola campaign shirts designed by CUSTO Barcelona and autographed by celebs like three-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, world renowned DJ Steve Aoki, and legendary sculptor Lorenzo Quinn will be auctioned off during the VIP Cannes Fashion Festival Gala.
“The support we have received so far, from CUSTO Barcelona and celebrities eager to be involved in the campaign has been overwhelming. This is a tremendously important issue and we firmly believe that together, we can help make a difference. Just one t-shirt or one autograph will help the charities and volunteers working tirelessly to support those affected by Ebola,” added Millet.
