TEEN VOGUE recently held their 7th annual Fashion University in New York City. Over 500 fashion enthused students, from around the world, attended a weekend full of seminars and workshops. These seminars were presented by some of the most influential industry notables Simone Oliver, Prabal Gurung, Olivier Theyskens and my absolute favorite, Grace Coddington, and brands such as American Apparel, Guess x Denim Refinery, and TopShop. Rachel Roy rained on many students parade when she canceled last minute, but her absence was easily overshadowed by the many other speakers present.
Just like a true higher education institution, an application doesn’t guarantee admittance, but the classes do offer an abundance of information that can be utilized in the future. Taking place at the Teen Vogue Building or across the street at the Hudson Theatre in the Millennium Hotel, there was no excuse to be late.
