Caitlin Kelly’s designer swimwear was showcased on rainy, rooftop runway, but her designs took you to a place of sunbathers and sand. Creating a collection wearable for all shapes, sizes and appealing to all ages, it’s no wonder she found her “designer stride” her 2nd year at Badgley Mischka. Her inspiration, she said, “was a culmination of everything she wanted to do.” And that she did.
Trend: Kelly’s interchangeable swimwear. Gold grommet monokinis, convertible panties or medallion front bandeau‘s – these were the elements that made Kelly’s collection unique. There were 26 different looks resulting in unlimited amount of ensembles.
Key Pieces: Plunge back halter jumpsuit, front fold over romper or tuxedo front wrap one piece paired with black stilettos and a large pendant necklace. All three stood out as figure flattering pieces, wearable for all silhouettes.
Key Colors: Black, dark peri and turquoise.
Accessories: Grommet cuff bracelets, black heels and multi-tiered chokers.
Sass: The vision of creating fashion forward swimwear that’s flattering to woman alike is expressed through her debut collection. She’s our sexy beach going alter ego with all the confidence of a lady.
