Sony Pictures Classics announced it has obtained universal rights to LAND HO!, Martha Stephens and Aaron Katz comedy that premiered at Sundance. Produced by Mynette Louie, Sara Murphy, and Christina Jennings, LAND HO! is the first film to be financed byGamechanger after its debut last fall to solely finance features directed and co-directed by women.
Starring Paul Eenhoorn and Earl Lynn Nelson, LAND HO! follows two ex-brother-in-laws who who embark on a road trip to Iceland in hopes of reclaiming their youth through Reykjavik nightclubs, trendy spas, and rugged campsites. This comedy explores the subjects of aging, loneliness and friendship

The deal was negotiated by Andrew Herwitz, president of Film Sales Company, and Andre Des Rochers of Gray Krauss Stratford Sandler Des Rochers LLP, on behalf of the filmmakers. Sony Pictures Classics plan sto release the film in 2014.
