March madness is behind us. School is out for summer. But soon enough we’ll be strategically planning our back to school wardrobe, which for you college bound pupils means purchasing every college item in the bookstore. You know, the hoodies and sweats branded with LSU down the front that will be your uniform for the next 4 years. Or the exact hues of UMich maize and azure to paint your face for football season. Well, there’s a new way to show your rivals you mean business, with SKICKS.
SKICKS, a new line of college-inspired sneakers, brings a new meaning to school pride. Created by 20 year-old University of Michigan student, Jordana Schrager, when she realized her personal shoe customization was a want from a larger audience. Since then she has garnered licenses to produce high tops ($69.99) and low tops ($59.99) for the following schools: Auburn University, Baylor University, Clemson University, Florida State University, Indiana University, Michigan State University, North Carolina State University, Penn State University, Syracuse University, University of Cincinnati, University of Georgia, University of Louisville, University of Miami, University of Michigan,University of Tennessee, and University of Wisconsin
And don’t freak out if you don’t see your school on the list. Jordana is quickly working on adding dozens more institutions to SKICKS.
SKICKS will be available for purchase in time for the school year, so be sure to keep watch.
