Monday night QVC presented FFANY Shoes on Sale Gala in New York at the Waldorf Astoria benefitting breast cancer research and education. Hosted by Cheryl Burke, the evening started with a special pink carpet arrival leading to a cocktail reception and Designer Shoe Salon. Later in the night, the late designer Vince Camuto was honored with FFANY Jodi Humanitarian Award, accepted by Louise Camuto; and Patrick Chalhoub accepted the FFANY Retailer of the Year Award on behalf of Chalhoub Group.
Now, though you weren’t there to drool over Allison Williams’s tangerine Altuzarra dress or gawking at her Ana Khouri black pearl ring, you can make many comparable designers yours all for the sake of giving back. TODAY from 6:00PM to 9:00PM EDT, QVC will broadcast FFANY Shoes on Sale. FFANY Shoes on Sale features over 150 donated styles of shoes from more than 80 brands that will be available for purchase at half the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). This isn’t the time to not tell your archenemy because you want to keep the deals to yourself. It’s a time for a power in numbers, so spread the word. In the past, FFANY Shoes on Sale has donated more than $47 million nationwide to various breast cancer research and education institutions. So, just imagine what could happen if we all just told one person each. Not only would they sellout (which I’m sure they will) but we’ll be closer and closer to finding that unknown link to a rapidly growing disease.
