Refinery29, a popular destination for fashion experts and fashion enthusiasts has teamed up with DKNY on a line of handbags that will surely come in handy during the Spring and Summer seasons.
Refinery29 x DKNY Collection is inspired by the readers and editors of each of Refinery 29’s markets it currently services and there newest and first international edition, London, that is set to launch December 2012. The bags include: Washington, DC – The Crossbody; New York City – The Backpack; Chicago – The Tote; Miami – The Mini Crossbody; Los Angeles – The Box Clutch; San Francisco – The Satchel; and London – The Chain Strap Clutch.
Refinery29’s Creative Director, Piera Gelardi, told WWD of the collaboration: “We thought about each market and how we see it responding. We are a trend destination, but the bags aren’t overly trendy. They are still classic.”
