Second to last day of Advent and today we bring you a music inspired brand. Tribut Apparel has taken the identity of music and transferred onto fashion. Co-founded by Blues Rock genius and most note-worthy solo guitarist, Joe Bonamassa, Tribut has made waves in the two years it’s been around.
In October, Tribute celebrated their 2nd year launch with pieces characteristic enough for The Met’s “Chaos to Couture” exhibition starring the likes of McQueen, Westwood and Chanel. Divulged of six concepts, “FARM”, “Faces”, “Royalty Free”, “Only Listen To…”, “Big Mess” and “Sustainable Sounds”, pieces features the Queen sporting headphones, distressed rock ‘n roll denim jackets, and scarves screaming the famous slogan, “Sex, Drugs & Rock and Roll”.
Collection ranging from $19 – $89, Tribut also offers iconic apparel of music icons including AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Van Halen, and that’s not even a third.
“After 20 years in the Joe Bonamassa business, we noticed that there was an undeserved category of passionate classic-rock consumers whose heart, soul and love of music alone could provide enough inspiration to drive a new merchandising concept that connects the merchant with its consumer on a social level first and foremost,” said Roy Weisman, Co-Founder of Tribut Apparel.
What current artist do you think will make it on the icon level? Answer and you’ll automatically be entered to win your very own “Sex, Drugs & Rock and Roll” scarf. Entries must be in by December 26, 2013 (Boxing Day) @ 9am EST via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
