It’s a “Sneaker Freak” and Advent Calendar mashup. We love sneakers here at StyleCartel. More than some should admit, but when you have Marant, Chanel and Celine popping out sneaker collections left and right, you’ve got no choice but to love it. The only issue is that they’re keeping things simple or M.I.A.-ing it up with gold adornments. And to tell you the truth, I’m not simple, nor do I care to rock chains on my feet. That’s why I’m head over sneaks for Inkkas.
Inkkas is a custom brand of shoes handmade at a family-owned workshop in Lima. They are vibrant, funky and full of fashion life! Oooo weee… they are not only beautiful, they also give back. Because all the parts of the shoes – laces, thread, tags, fabric – are manufactured in South America, the money goes back to the communities that supply it. And with every purchase, a portion of proceeds goes to helping save the Amazon and its native inhabitants. It’s the shoe that keeps on giving!
