Grooming inspiration: Anton K. for ARTIS and SISLEY PARIS
“The designers wanted them to look like they’d been out all night partying, but still hot, still chic. We did some really cool stuff. We used some of this as loose shadows and kind of carved out their eyes a little bit more, some of the redder tones to give them that kind of heroin chic vibe, but then we still give them coverage where they needed it and created a chic, up-all-night sort of look, in a positive way.”
How-to:
- Use the Artis Fluenta Oval 8to quickly and evenly diffuse Sisley Paris “Sisleÿum for Men” Anti-Aging Global Revitalizer evenly across the face.
- With the Artis Fluenta Linear 1, equally distribute a red shadow along the lash line on both top and bottom.
- Use the Artis Fluenta Circle 1R to line the eyelid crease with a medium brown shadow or bronzer.
- Glide the Artis Fluenta Oval 3 in a circular motion to effectively blend the red and brown eyeshadow together.
- Use the Artis Fluenta Oval 6to lightly glide Sisley Paris “Phyto-Teint Éclat” Fluid Foundation onto any red or discolored areas around the nose and under the eyes to help unify the skin tone, while still keeping a masculine look.
- To create dimension with the bone structure, highlight the cheek bones and darken underneath with the Artis Fluenta Oval 6.
- After applying Sisley Paris Eye and Lip Contour Complex to the lips, then take the Artis Fluenta Circle 1R and apply leftover shadow for a dried look.
Hair inspiration: Linh Nguyen for CUTLER
“The look today was inspired by a guy who’s actually doing the walk of shame and he’s caught in the rain. His head’s kind of down and the hair’s kind of damp and wet. He’s dressed to the nines… he’s like the cool guy that you want to be hanging out with. The two products I used were the Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Treatment Primer, and the Move Ability by Redken. I mixed the two together because we wanted it to look wet but we didn’t want it to look greasy because I think like a lot of times you put products in the hair and the hair looks really too shiny and greasy. It’s actually a matte finish, even though he’s been caught in the rain.”
