Directly next to the German Levi Strauss HQ resides 25Hours Hotel Frankfurt – Levi’s. Specially designed to integrate the fashion of Levi Strauss through the ages, this hotel welcomes both the young and older crowd. This hotel hotspot is going to give you the breakdown of what makes this place cool. From the Jukebox that plays music upon room entry to the in-house Chez Ima restaurant to the rooftop that hosts events for parties to free runners showing off their extraordinary agility and stamina.
Suites – Rooms come in Medium, Large and Xtra Large with varying shades of blue aligning with the jeans most popular during that era. The most noted characteristic is the time taken to capture all aspects of each decade from wall hangings of famous personalities to refurbished hall mirrors to the wall paper patterns all reminiscent of the times. It’s like a temporary time warp in modern day society.
Each room is decked out with a flat screen tv, minibar for midnight snacking, iHome docking stations and Stop The Water While Using Me! products. Products that are not only eco-friendly and smell like a walk through a blossoming rose garden, Stop The Water While Using Me! is a constant reminder of the little things we can do to help preserve what we have.
Dining – There’s no room service. Sadpies, I know. But housed downstairs is a delicious restaurant named Chez Ima. Ima meaning mom in Hebrew, it’s a restaurant that lives up to its name by taking area staples and serving it up the way Ima does – in large portions smothered in love. When there, take note all clientele that come in to enjoy their delicacies. From Wall Street-esque type to families with little children to the hipster type, all enjoying what Ima has to offer for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Amenities – Following their uber cool theme, don’t be surprised to see the rooftop terracepacked during the warmer months. Lounge atop chaise lounges for an even tan or dance to the DJs beat during one of their many events. Take the elevator to the ground floor and escape to a world you haven’t seen since the 90s. Entitled, The Gibson Music Room, you’ll find a blue lit practice room for musicians to rehearse and perform in. Walls are lined with poster collages of the greats that once were to the greats that someday will be, including one of my favorites, Kurt Cobain.
Have a driver’s license? Let the hotel provide you a map of Frankfurt’s must see sites, museums, and the most touristy things to do along with keys to a Mini Cooper for you to use while a guest. No need to lug your campers pack with you or worry about sudden rain showers, because you’ll be covered… literally.
Filled with great people, stylish atmosphere and good times, 25Hours – Levi’s is the perfect hotel for many travelers. It may not be your home away from home, but the friends you meet will be like family.
