Inspired by Jane Birken meets Anne of Avonlea, Erin Fetherston Spring/Summer 2016 paraded varying shades of blue down the runway in different styles and silhouettes. Ruffled sleeve jumpsuits in indigo purples, sky blue floral chiffon skirts billowed with every step, and slip-like dresses that were lighter than air. To play off the minimalism of her collection, MISS POP forKISS Products, Inc., hand painted white flower petals on a pale pink base. The center of each flower was then adorned with a cluster of pearls from KISS Salon Secrets Luxe Accents for extra dimension.
How to do at-home:
•Use KISS 100 Full Cover Nails in Active Oval and paint with KISS Gel Strong Polish in So Hot OR for an easy application with no dry time, use imPRESS Manicure in So, So Stellar
•Pour KISS Nail Artist Paint in white into a small petri dish or piece of foil and fill a shot glass with acetone
•Use the thin paint brush from the KISS Salon Secrets Nail Art Tool Kit to dip the brush into the acetone and mix with the white nail paint, then lightly paint flower petals onto the nail
•Create various sizes of flowers and alternate design; paint two flowers onto some nails and others with large flowers extending out from the left side of the cuticle
•Allow polish to dry, then paint top coat onto the center of the flower
•Using the KISS Salon Secrets Luxe Accents Kit, pick up three pearls with the silicone stick then place in a triangular shape in the center of the flower
•Polish with top coat to set
