P!NK – THE NEW FACE OF COVERGIRL

The real role models of today have been lost in a never ending sea of “reality” television stars. Woman who speak their mind, stand their ground and never take no for an answer have been buried deep waiting to be unearthed – until now. COVERGIRL recently unveiled, Grammy Award Winner, P!NK as the newest spokeswoman for its Fall 2012 campaign. Past spokeswomen have included Ellen DeGeneres, Rihanna, Queen Latifah, Sofia Vergara, Drew Barrymore, Taylor Swift and now P!NK.

A recent mother, this musician has been giving us truthful, in your face attitude since her 2000 debut album, Can’t Take Me Home. An R&B meets pop mix that put her on the map of female musicians to look out for. From then on her sound has changed and so did her rocker look, but in a more mature fashion.

With the release of her sixth album, The Truth About Love, on September 18^th, this COVERGIRL collaboration is perfect timing. She may not be the “Real Housewives” role model so common today, but she is the perfect role model for our younger generation.
