I’m always astounded by how exquisite celebrities look from Rodeo Drive shopping to press junket frenzy. At times it’s looks as though another person has taken over their body completely, other times it looks like you’ve slapped some mink lashes and rouge on their faces and called it a day. And though they have a team behind the scenes prepping them for the paps lurking to snap that golden shot, let us remember the creations they wear, that should truly deserve the glory.
And now that Cannes is over, we’re back to our traditional five favorite looks, this week starring Akris, Kaufmanfranco, ELIE SAAB, Prada and Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. Each design is different, yet sharing of qualities. Take the glitterati effect on Miley, Li and Elle displayed in varying silhouettes and style personalities, juxtaposed with the architectural simplicity of Emily and Princess Charlène ensemble choices allowing one to notice the dress before the wearer.
