There’s been lots of backlash, or calling out, of bloggers, editors and other people of the media criticizing actors on what they wear, weight gain or loss, and other personal epithets. We get it and though we aren’t trying to be Mean Girls, sometimes actors and other people who voluntarily put themselves in vulnerable arenas should not suck it up, but realize that it was a choice they could have turned away from.
But here at StyleCartel, though we aren’t against calling you out for have a fashion tragic moment, we celebrate all. I personally love celebrities. Ok, not all, but many of the select group I’ve had the fortune of meeting. And many times as people focus on the main picture, we all we all know it’s the little details that make the ensemble list worthy.
This week these five women, you may love, hate to love, or just disdain, have used the power of fashion and accessories to make me swoon. Whether it be Cavallari in Kristin Cavallari by Chinese Laundry, Amy Ryan in Forevermark diamonds, Felicity in a jacquard Erdem number, the oh-so adorable Shailene Woodley in Elie Saab, or King baring her serious midriff in Thakoon Additon. Though silhouettes you’ve seen many times before, you can’t deny that a second look wasn’t necessary.
