Wallpaper *Handmade with Jaguar makes its way to New York City. After traveling the globe and appearing across 12 of the Brompton Road windows of Harrods, and in Art Basel Miami last December, Wallpaper* has again collaborated with Jaguar for a curated selection of the best Handmade pieces from the last five years.
Each item harbors the same characteristics of the Jaguar aesthetic of clean and sleek designs of necessity, rather than frivolity. Like “Valet” by Fiona Barratt-Campbell, Alexander McQueenand Nicklin which houses two USB ports, tray for pocket knickknacks, belt holder and shoe horn, hidden away to resemble a space conscious, modern take on the traditional valet.
Alongside “Valet”, the exhibit shares space with designers such as Fredrikson Stallard, Moritz Waldemeyer, Mathieu Gustafsson and Haas Brothers with Flavor Paper. As well as the new all-aluminum F-TYPE Coupe cut-away version, displaying the internal and external structure of Jaguar’s under hood performance technology.
“The Wallpaper* Handmade with Jaguar exhibit is a great opportunity for Jaguar to express how our designers surpasses expectations to create vehicles with the most intricate and advanced design elements that easily rival other luxury vehicles on the market,” said Jeff Curry, Brand Vice President, Jaguar North America.
